Does it matter where you buy your holiday tree? …. It does to them!
Every penny of profit from the Tree Lot is used in direct support of the club’s community service endeavors.
Each year, our club seeks out five promising, motivated high school students–giving them the opportunity to be the first in their family ever to attend college. Our club awards them a full year’s scholarship to attend one of our local community colleges.
The Los Altos Kiwanis Club produces the annual Kiwanis Special Games, now in its 35th year. This is truly a day that makes a difference in the lives of 900 severely challenged kids from schools in the Santa Clara County.
Four generations of kids have looked forward every spring to the Kiwanis Pet Parade. Join us for the 65th Annual Kiwanis Pet Parade, May 18, 2013. (Older than the city of Los Altos!)
The Los Altos Kiwanis Club supports kids through frequent community service projects, and financial help to Los Altos school PTAs, and many local non-profits including, among many others: Help One Child, Community Service Agency, CHAC, and The Los Altos Holiday Fund.
